Instead of using a tow strap that can block the trail or get hung up on wheels, the Kommit spools the slack and always leaves tension which prevents sketchy hangups.

The additional bungie handlebar attachment removes any rough pulling in case the towing bike starts off too fast. Though the additional bungie strap is not necessary to tow riders behind you, it makes the tow a bit more comfortable on steep climbs.
